The goal of Tarrant County Bar Association (called “TCBA”) website (Tarrantbar.org) is to provide a rich array of information and online tools to Tarrant County Bar Association members and the public. To do this effectively, certain user data may be collected and/or reviewed so that we can understand our users and in turn make Tarrantbar.org more relevant to each individual user. INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU
When you visit the TCBA’s website (Tarrantbar.org), you are identifiable as a unique number, called an IP address. Your IP address is automatically collected in server logs. We use this information to help diagnose problems with our server and to analyze server traffic to learn which pages on Tarrantbar.org receive more or fewer visitors. This information is anonymous and cannot be traced back to a specific individual.
Our site may use forms that require users to give us contact information (such as name, address, telephone numbers, email addresses), method of payment, and other information. We use this contact information from the forms to process orders, confirm event registrations and membership related items, and otherwise assist individuals with TCBA related activities. The contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary. Information regarding method of payment is collected for membership purposes and to check the users’ qualifications and bill the user for products and services.
Certain features of Tarrantbar.org allow members to request updates to their membership information. This typically includes name, address, email, telephone number and other data such as practice area(s), date of admission to the Bar, and Section/Committee membership. Access to some of these services is protected by a password. TCBA recommends that you not divulge your password to anyone.

Features exist on this website that enable members to pay dues or sign up for an event online using their credit card. The information collected during these transactions is used solely by the TCBA for the purposes of completing the transactions and is not used for any other purpose whatsoever. Additionally, the information collected during those transactions is not sold to any third–party vendors.
Wherever a visitor’s personal information may be held by the TCBA or on its behalf, the TCBA intends to take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect this personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
The TCBA is not structured to attract children. Accordingly, the TCBA does not intend to collect personal information from anyone we know to be under 13 years of age.
